Mama was in town

My mom had recently mentioned  that she wanted to go to a taping of a tv show, so naturally working in the tv industry I was like sweeeeet I'll hook her up - knowing that the tickets are free to most tapings. First I tried Steven and Chris but their show is booked for the entire year! THE ENTIRE YEAR!! whoa crazy. Then I looked up Marilyn Denis and score I got us some tickets. I figured since J had the day off I would ordered him a ticket too, but he ended up being sick the day of {Im sure he planned that one lol jk}. 

Mama and I arrived early at the studio to get our spot in line, they waited till 9am exactly before they let us in to the 'holding zone' {But no really, it was a holding zone with securtiy and a roped off area lol} OH and let me tell you people if you ever want VIP treatment somewhere I recomend traveling with an elder who has a cane {sorry mama} Haha my mom has a bad back and has a cane it literally is the greatest thing ever like no joke! {Trust me when I say it doesn't just work at tv studios} the staff and security at the studio were so accommodating to my mom they even said they would wrestle someone to give her a seat in the 'holding zone'. And at the end of the show the audience coordinator held our bags and her cane while we got our picture taken it was pretty great.

Baseballs and Fire Halls

This post is about our PAST weekend, a little late is better then never ... are you thrilled to pieces? Well you better get excited the in laws were here!

 Finally I can cross 'get on the jumbo Tron' off my bucket list. We attended the Blue Jays game {as per usual - when we have out of town guests} :) We had seats in the 500 level so we arrived early to get our beers and ice cream of course! We had just got to our seats when the 'Jay Force' girls aproached us and asked if we were big fans of the Jays they then told us they were going to upgrade our seats to the TD Comfort Zone HELLZ YEAH!! I thought that was the best news then we each got a bunch of swag including $50 jays shop gift card. Im still convinced the jersey J surpised me with that night is lucky.  

Brett Lawrie's foul hit almost took out my mother inlaw.

Sunday before they flew home we took them down to Echo beach, the fire hall next to the beach was having a 'doors open' meaning you can go in and look around. So of course im NOT going to turn down a chance to check out firefighters hehe.

Tiny Apartment sleepovers

O-K.  This is actually the third time writing this post grr { the first two times it was deleted; somehow }.  Alright so my sister lives two hours away from us and my nieces and nephew have birthdays 4x a year and J and I are not always able to attend their birthday parties, So we decided to start a tradition this year and bring the kids to our house for a birthday weekend of funess!!! They get to choose where we go for dinner and also go shopping and pick out their gift.
First up this year was Brianna's {April 6th}
Friday night we took her too a Blue Jays game. Jay vs. Yankees { lucky girl got to see the yankees } during the Yankees batting practice uncle J caught a fly ball.
Saturday we did some shopping for her present, B wanted a new outfit so we took her to the Eaton's centre and strolled around there for a bit she ended up deciding on mint pants, a long sleeve shirt and Converse look-a-like shoes and she even had enough money left over for a few accessories. Later that night we dined at The Spaghetti Factory over chocolate milk, beer for J and I of course! And pasta.
Sunday we had to return the little munchkin back to her birth parents it was fun to pretend she was ours for the weekend.

Jays Home Opener

Old post just getting caught up and dumping old photos.

April 2nd was home opener for the Toronto blue Jays this was the first year J and I attended, it is was awesome!!! The dome was packed sold out! We received free pom-poms upon entering overall we had an awesome time. I literally LOVE baseball so much I just love the atmosphere of being at the game as well the beer, peanuts, Sun Flower seeds,people watching basically everything. 

Life as a city sleeker

Well alot has happened since the big move into the city. Im not sure where to start thank goodness for my memory box of photos (Instagram) to remind me. We moved in March and I'm now just posting in ... May ahhh sorry guess I've just been enjoying the city too much but honestly no excuses. 

Ok lets see so we attended our friends bridal shower as well as their city hall ceremony they actually got married in Guatemala (May 4) but due to their religion they had to legally wed here first, we were unable to travel to Guatemala however we did dog sit their cute little spanish speaking poodle named Bobota ba-boat-ta

Then Easter came and went. We went to my sisters and had tons of fun blowing out the egg yokes and dipping them with her kids I even made my niece a belated tie dye birthday cake ( thanks Pinterest)

We moved.

The bidding war is over!! Yay!! Its official we packed all our belongings, said our last goodbyes to our old condo handed over our keys and u-hauled downtown then unpacked like crazy till the last box was unpacked ( not quite there are still a few boxes ).

We'll miss you ol' spacicus condo.
